This 13 mile trail "circles" the Air Force Academy and is quite beautiful. It had been on my list for sometime and since I did not have a partner today, decided to do it. 13 miles was a long way and the method how I did it allowed for the last 1.5 miles to be all uphill. Uggg

Weather: 25 degrees at the start, 30 mph winds at mile 4, and warm and sunny for the last 5 miles
